The 21st edition of SPINEXPO, the renowned yarn and knitting exhibition, will open again on March 12-13-14, 2015 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, presenting the Fall/Winter 2014 collection. 2015, SPINEXPO continues to advance its innovative curatorial concept, presenting attendees with a new knitted garment section, focusing on the latest developments in the knitted garment industry . At the same time WGSN will bring knitwear trends and colors for Spring/Summer 2014.

The Knitwear Zone will showcase digital stereoscopic images, networking/seminars to showcase knitwear and knitted fabric design styles, bring inspiration for Spring/Summer 2014, and showcase future shows and emerging markets. This area will showcase SPINEXPO's new booth design concept, focusing on style and fashion for the most cutting-edge manufacturers and design professionals.

Ms. Karine, the organizer of SPINEXPO, said, "In previous editions of the show, we have noticed that many exhibitors are involved in the knitwear sector. Due to the lack of an exclusive knitwear fair, they lacked a platform to present themselves. In addition, many of our key exhibitors showcased their group's yarns and knitwear, and more attention needs to be paid to what and how they present next."

"As Chinese products become more expensive, they need to develop styles and fashions in order to be more competitive. Many European companies are also actively looking for a platform where they can showcase their skills. spinexpo is a widely respected platform for yarn and fiber manufacturers and welcomes both domestic and international buyers to source yarn, fiber and knitwear."

Ms. Karine concluded, "We decided to give knit manufacturers a special status, even though some of them are already important exhibitors in the yarn sector. Next we plan to develop this segment at SPINEXPO carefully and selectively, and for the first time we will open a 200 square meter display area involving 12 to 15 exhibitors."

For the past few years, SPINEXPO has been pleased to work with Nottingham Lent University, known worldwide for its fashionable textile designs, to create the most innovative fabrics and garments from exhibitors' yarn designs, which are displayed in the "Marketing" area. This year, SPINEXPO combines the creative products of yarn exhibitors with the creative designs of students to create a closer connection.

Spring/Summer 2014 will explain our metamorphosis over the years and show our efforts to adapt to our environment. Life has been accelerating at an incredible pace and we have been struggling to keep up with it as much as possible. While we are busy racing against life, without realizing it, the world around us has slowly changed and undergone a metamorphosis.
